In recognition of the 45th anniversary of our partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®), the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation is excited to announce grants totaling more than $49,000 to nine local RMHC Chapters from the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation’s RMHC Endowment.
The selected Chapters will receive grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to support their unique needs and special projects. After careful deliberation, the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation has selected the following grant recipients:
- RMHC of Arkansas and North Louisiana – Purchase commercial refrigerator and freezer for the new Shreveport-Bossier House, which will be the first Ronald McDonald House® in North Louisiana
- RMHC British Columbia and Yukon (Canada) – Support the therapeutic Medical Play wellness program, which helps patients understand and cope with their own treatment, enhancing knowledge and familiarity with medical equipment and procedures for patients, siblings, and caregivers through play
- RMHC Detroit (MI) – Invest in the construction of a new Ronald McDonald Family Room® at the Hutzel Women’s Hospital to assure a safe and restful space for caregivers, just steps away from their children in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)

The RMHC Endowment was created as part of the Foundation’s landmark $10,000,000 We Believe Campaign in 2015. Collegiate chapters, alumnae, parents, and friends of Alpha Delta Pi have helped raise more than $1,200,000 to expand the reach of our philanthropic partnership with RMHC through this fund.
This is the 6th year RMHC Endowment grants have been awarded by the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. Learn more about our previous grant recipients.
