Dear Advisor,

Thank you. Thank you for giving up your evenings to come to chapter meetings. Thank you for spending hours each week answering phone calls, texts, and emails. Thank you for volunteering for our sisterhood. Thank you for putting your faith in the chapters you advise. Thank you for your dedication to chapters that may or may not be your own.

Alpha Delta Pi wants to invest in YOU. While our collegiate women continue to be incredible leaders in our chapters, advisors nurture these leaders and play a huge role in the lives of Alpha Delta Pi women around the continent. If it were not for the support of my advisors when I was an officer, I would not have achieved half of the things I did, and I am still so grateful for them!

maddieadvisors2Whether you have been advising for 1, 10, or 50 years and beyond, the advisor track at Leadership Seminar is made for you. There is no manual on how to be a great advisor. Could you imagine if that existed – it would probably be thicker than the COB. This track will give you specific training that you can apply to your experience as an ADPi advisor. It will provide training on topics that we’re not normally trained on – such as mental health, risk management/insurance, and diversity and inclusion. You will learn how to discern the grey areas, which is a challenge I’m sure many of us have on an almost daily basis.

This year while working as a Leadership Consultant, I have witnessed the love that our advisors pour into our chapters. You are teachers, doctors, politicians, event planners, social media strategists, lawyers, business owners, accountants, wives, and mothers. But you are all Alpha Delta Pi women. Somewhere along the way, ADPi has inspired you to give back. Now, Alpha Delta Pi wants to equip you with the skills to come back to the chapters you advise and make a difference. I hope you take advantage of this opportunity to network, learn, and share experiences with fellow advisors. I am thrilled that Alpha Delta Pi wants to invest in our advisors, and I hope to see you this summer in Dallas!

Loyally,

Maddie Landers, Zeta Psi – University of North Carolina, Greensboro
